Venture Capital

SEPARATE SPVs

- We invest in early-stage companies with disruptive technologies.

- We usually invest mid- to late-stage with a goal to exit in 3 to 5 years.

- Each investment is done separately via its own Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) where investors can choose whether they would like to participate or not.

- Exits:

Hyzon went public via a SPAC in 2022. We exited with just over a 10X cash-on-cash return (344% annualized return) in 19 months.

- We invest in publicly traded growth companies that are proven innovators. These innovative companies are disrupting their competitors and changing the world as we know it.

- We are sector and market cap agnostic, although we rarely invest in companies below $1B in market cap.

- We are generally geography agnostic, yet about 95% of the visionary and innovative firms we invest in are based in the United States.

JEDBURGH PARTNERS II

- We invest long and short in various derivatives depending on volatility and can go long and short underlying securities, exchange traded funds, exchange traded products, futures contracts, equities, indices, currencies, bonds, etc. for hedging purposes.

- We also invest in short-duration box spreads that are extremely liquid and higher-yielding than equivalent treasury bills. We use options on treasury futures to hedge against interest rate risk. We will use margin to short derivatives in markets experiencing periods of high volatility and will purchase time spreads in markets experiencing periods of low volatility.
